Join AARP, the National Park Service and Bike MN to explore our very own National Park. Park rangers will guide two groups for an educational bike tour of the Mississippi River National Recreation Area. Learn more about the geologic and human history of the river as it winds its way through the Twin Cities. The bike tour will cover 8 miles of St. Paul riverfront and last approximately 2 hours. AARP and Bike MN will guide a bike ride around Lake Harriet and Lake Calhoun as we make our way to Steel Toe Brewing in St. Louis Park. Riders will depart the Lake Harriet Band Shell at either 2:30 or 3:30 PM. Group times are staggered to avoid congestion, and the ride plus the brewery stop is expected to take up to 3 hours.
