AARP Idaho will host a statewide telephone town hall on Wednesday, October 8, at 11:00 a.m. (MTN) to discuss timely health insurance issues that affect older Idahoans, such as Medicare open enrollment, Medicare fraud and health care markets.
AARP Idaho is pleased to welcome Nels Jensen of Idaho Falls, as the new state coordinator of the Driver Safety Program in Idaho. As state coordinator, Jensen will organize and oversee all of the volunteer driver safety instructors who teach courses in cities and towns across the Gem State. Jensen has been an AARP Driver Safety volunteer for the past 3 years.
As the Idaho population continues to grow, and people are staying healthy and active longer, a new reality for communities across the Gem State continues to emerge. To help meet this challenge, Malad City has announced their membership into the AARP Network of Age-Friendly States and Communities.
