The project goal is to help the community visualize a future for the parking lot, and how best to redesign it to improve its function as a parking lot and also as a catalyst for revitalizing downtown and connect city parks, the greenbelt and Main Street. The project will gather public input using outreach tactics to help spark new ideas, such as temporary street narrowing, pedestrian crossings and landscapes and visioning tools like maps and drawings.
