It's tax season time!

More than 35,000 AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program volunteers will again lend their expertise and volunteer endless hours preparing federal, state and local tax returns for millions of taxpayers – especially those 60 and older – during the 2014 tax season. Best of all, the service is FREE!

In 2012, nearly 6,000 Tax-Aide community-based sites in all 50 states and the District of Columbia helped 2.6 million individuals navigate tax codes, receive credits and deductions, and file appropriate tax returns.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers are trained by the IRS and is offered in collaboration with the agency.
