AARP and Radio 1
03.9 are teaming up for financial education workshops to help New Yorkers improve their financial health. Join us to hear a panel of experts discuss the importance of financial planning, how to plan for future and your family's future through estate planning, and what you need to do to buy a home and manage your mortgage as you retire.
"Providing New Yorkers with the tools to plan for the financial future is a top priority for AARP New York," said Dionne Polite, AARP New York's Associate State Director Multicultural Outreach. "In these days of economic uncertainty, we need information and resources to help us be financially resilient."
"We are so pleased to collaborate with radio personality Toya Beasley, host of Inspire U, and Radio 103.9, along with Walker Memorial Baptist Church and Pentecostal House of Prayer to host these events in the community, since churches are such a bedrock and trusted source of information," continued Polite.
