AARP is hosting a road show through western Maryland this fall, offering information and fun for members en route. Events include a scenic mountain train trip departing from Cumberland on Oct. 1 and celebrating family caregivers on board.
Other events are slated for Sept. 28 in Hagerstown and McHenry, where Marylanders can shred documents and get the latest tips to protect themselves from fraud; Sept. 29 in Frostburg, where they can see how to make their houses more livable at any age; and Sept. 30 in Frederick, where they can gain new insights on work, careers and how to parlay their experience into new opportunities.
