Lansing, MI – May 15, 2019 - The impact of dementia is growing in Michigan, but there are steps that individuals, families, the state and local communities can take to increase quality of life for people living with dementia, address rising costs and improve service delivery, according to a new report from the Michigan Dementia Coalition.

It’s unfair that Americans pay the highest prescription drug prices in the world. We must crack down on price gouging and the greedy practices that keep prices artificially high. It’s time our leaders stick up for people 50+ and their families.

The statement is in response to seven drug company executives’ testimonies given at the Senate Finance Committee hearing, “Drug Pricing in America: A Prescription for Change, Part II.”
