The AARP state office and Pollen, a nonprofit organization that promotes community building, are seeking nominations for a new statewide 50 Over 50 list to honor Minnesotans 50 and older who are making a difference.
Ten honorees will be chosen from each of five categories: nonprofit organizations, arts and culture, community building, business, and age disruptors. AARP will announce the honorees in August, and Pollen will post their profiles at pollenmidwest.org between August and December.
“Aging is not a negative, it is about growth and opportunity,” said Seth Boffeli, AARP state communications director. “We are thrilled to have an opportunity to honor Minnesotans who are breaking down outdated beliefs.”
