As part of the Montana Financial Education Coalition, AARP Montana is cosponsoring “Financial Security for a Lifetime,” a statewide conference in Helena, April 28-29.
“Longer life spans and an uncertain economy make it more important than ever to plan for lifelong financial well-being,” said Bob Bartholomew, AARP state director.
Jean Chatzky, an AARP ambassador and financial editor for NBC’s Today show, will headline the event. Experts from government, banking, education and nonprofit organizations will discuss smart money-management practices.
An April 28 reception and the April 29 morning sessions, including Chatzky’s talk, are free, but registration is required. The cost for the full conference is $75. For more information or to register, go to mtmfec.org.
