Broadway Week Ticket Presale

It’s ba-ack. The perennially popular Broadway Week presale event returns in August, presenting an exclusive 2-for-1 ticket buying opportunity for AARP members.

Six days before the offer is made available to the general public, members will get the chance to buy tickets to some of the hottest shows participating in Broadway Week, Sept. 7-20.

The presale is scheduled for Aug. 13-18, and participating shows include a wide variety of long-running productions and new releases, including  Aladdin, Amazing Grace, An American in Paris, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Chicago, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Finding Neverland, Fun Home, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Hand to God, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Jersey Boys, The King and I, Kinky Boots, Les Miserables, The Lion King, Matilda the Musical, Old Times, The Phantom of the Opera, Something Rotten!, Spring Awakening and Wicked.

Tickets can be purchased online using the code BWWKPR; or upgrade your seat for an additional $20 per ticket using code BWPRUP.

The Broadway Week presale ticket offer is one of a number of local benefits that AARP New York provides to help members have fun at a discount. It has been offered for the past five years, in partnership with NYC & Company.

During Broadway Week, AARP members can stop by the Official NYC Information Center-South Street Seaport from 3 to 4 p.m. each day to meet AARP staff, volunteers and other members, and to learn more about what the association is doing in their community. —Ronald E. Roel
