AARP Oklahoma wants to ensure that residents in the state’s nursing facilities receive proper care and attention.

The Oklahoma Caregiver Support Act directs the state Department of Human Services to work with community groups to improve access to caregiver services in low, middle and high income areas. Schools and city and county facilities will provide information, counseling, training and in some cases vouchers to help caregivers.
