Sage-ing® International Conference Invitation: Seattle August 21-24

We are all getting older! The good news is that each of us can continue to grow, make deeper connections with friends and family, and find a new sense of purpose as we serve others. If this interests you, you are invited to attend the biennial conference sponsored by Sage-ing® International and Seattle University this August.  The conference, Gifting the World As We Age, will be held on the campus of Seattle University, beautifully situated in the heart of the city.  The conference dates are August 21st to 24th, 2014.

Sage-ing International is a non-profit that critiques attitudes toward aging typically held in the Western world and invites a new vision of aging embracing a model of introspection that cultivates deep wisdom and the potential for assuming new roles as we get older.

Conference Chairwoman, Carol Scott-Kassner, refers to this biennial event as “a fun and empowering gathering of men and women who want to experience the second half of life as joyful, fulfilling and meaningful.  The conference attracts people who wish to make this a time filled with personal and spiritual growth while giving back through service to others.”  The conference is open to all who wish to attend.   It is possible to register for the entire conference or a single day.

Conscious Aging luminaries Bob Atchley, The Three Interfaith Amigos, Wendy Lustbader, Christina Baldwin, Connie Goldman, Rick Moody, Shaya Isenberg, Bahira Sugarman and Lynne Iser will be featured speakers.  In addition, there will be a rich array of sessions from over 40 presenters that will be listed on our website in May.
