Are you age 55 or older and need help in finding employment?  AARP Foundation’s Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) helps older jobseekers develop skills that will make them more effective.

AARP Foundation SCSEP provides both community service and work-based training.  Working 18 hours a week and earning $7.25 an hour, participants are able to assist non-profits and government entities with day-to-day activities.  You earn money to offset the cost of job hunting (keep the phone turned on, gas in the car, bus tickets in the pocket), build your resume, close employment gaps, and receive training and counseling to assist you in your job search.  Sound good?  Give us a call at 804-355-3600.
