AARP Eye Center
Summer is glorious in the gardens at Kingwood Center of Mansfield, where AARP members are invited for a free guided tour through colorful annuals at 1 pm on Thursday, July 17.
The tour arranged especially for AARP members includes the gardens, greenhouse and horticultural library at Kingwood Hall, the mansion in the midst of 47 acres of gardens, built in 1926 for Charles Kelley King. In addition to historical formal gardens, Kingwood features woodland, terrace and herb gardens.
A Kingwood Center tour guide will meet AARP members assembled in the parking lot, where the tour will begin. The event is free to members, but space is limited and reservations are required by July 3. RSVP online or by calling toll-free 1-877-926-8300.
