The Senior Connection Looking for New Volunteers in Montgomery County

The next Senior Connection Open House is Wednesday, November 4, from 9:30 - 11 a.m. at the Holiday Park Senior Center!

Volunteering is often at the heart of a working community – and this is no secret to those involved with The Senior Connection (TSC) in Montgomery County, MD. Learn how flexible volunteering with TSC can be at their next open house, held regularly in Silver Spring. The next Senior Connection Open House is Wednesday, November 4, from 9:30 - 11 a.m. at the Holiday Park Senior Center!

The Senior Connection in Montgomery County has immediate openings for volunteers to provide essential services to area seniors. Available opportunities include driving senior adults to medical and other appointments and assisting with grocery shopping. Volunteering schedules are flexible and just 2-3 hours a month can make a real difference for your senior neighbors! Training and liability coverage are provided. New volunteer trainings will be held on Tuesday, November 10 at 10 am and on Wednesday, November 18 at 7 pm, both at the Holiday Park Senior Center.  For more information, call 301-942-1049 or contact:  volunteer@seniorconnectionmc.org.
