A Kinship Caregivers’ Support Network
Bedford Area Seniors Raising Kids (BASrK) is a network of 50-plus Virginians from the Bedford area who are raising their extended family’s children.
Their goal is to develop a safe, nurturing, confidential, and interactive group that promotes health, wellness, and decreased stress as they endeavor to raise healthy, happy kids.
The group provides

- Collaboration
- Support
- Information & referral
- Education on topics relevant to our unique group
Meetings are held the third Saturday of the month from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Main Street United Methodist Church RM 201, 212 East Main Street, Bedford, VA 24523. For more information about this group email BASrRK@gmail.com or call 540-583-0794.
