AARP Eye Center
Reston Chapter of The Links, Inc., in collaboration with AARP and others, has created a platform to facilitate open discussion and educate the community on the realities of aging and financial stability. This year's Money Matters event is focused on financial stability and growth as a lifestyle choice that begins as a teen and extends throughout one's life.
The program will feature a video greeting from AARP CEO Jo Ann Jenkins, a “Sheroes Ace Your Retirement” segment, and a panel discussion on finances over 50 and the importance of preparing to care, as family caregiving and long-term care often impacts generational wealth. AARP Virginia Community Ambassador Michelle Evans-Oliver will speak on the panel.
The event will take place virtually on Saturday, January 23 at 10:00 a.m. Register here.*
