Caregivers are encouraged to take part in AARP Wyoming’s popular series, Care for Caregivers, on Mondays in March. The weekly series, which explores self-care topics for caregivers, will be held at the Laramie County Public Library, 2200 Pioneer Avenue, in Cheyenne.
Together, these sessions offer practical tools, thoughtful reflection, and experiential practices that help participants restore energy, build resilience, and deepen awareness—meeting life with greater clarity, steadiness, and ease through every season. Sessions include:
That is according to Gillette Police Detective Alan Stuber, who made that comment during AARP Wyoming’s Legislative Preview Webinar for Wyoming Legislators held Tuesday.
The events will take place in Laramie, Sheridan, and Cheyenne and feature Zach Hutchinson, Community Science Coordinator with Audubon of the Rockies, teaching participants how to spot, identify, and observe birds in their natural habitat.
As with most other Legislative committees, the Transportation Committee will also have new leadership as Senator Brian Boner moves over from the Ag committee, bringing a background in military affairs. Meanwhile, the House committee will have Landon Brown as its chair.
What was old is new again for the Labor, Health, and Social Services Committee. Fred Baldwin, himself a Physician Assistant, will head up the Senate side of the committee, while Rep. Dan Zwonitzer takes the helm of the House Committee.
Wyoming's Judiciary Committee will hear a number of bills, including one that would allow banks and credit unions to put a hold of up to five days on a transaction it fears is fraudulent.
Join AARP Wyoming as we talk to State Senate President Ogden Driskell and Speaker of the Wyoming House of Representatives Albert Sommers about the upcoming Legislative session, which begins on January 10.
Check out the holiday lights with AARP Wyoming on Dec. 18 during a free trolley tour around Cheyenne. The tour takes off from the Cheyenne Depot Museum at 6 p.m. and will last for approximately one hour and a half.
