AARP Wyoming and Piklr!, a pickleball facility at 3741 East Lincolnway in Cheyenne, are teaming up for two Open House events on Sunday, June 22.

These Open House events are for those curious about pickleball or looking to connect with others who love the game. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, this fun and welcoming event is your chance to hit the court, get free coaching, and make new pickleball friends.

Those interested in taking part in the event can choose from one of two free sessions on Sunday, June 22:

  • 10–11:45 AM
  • 12:15 PM–2:00 PM

The event is free, but registration is required and can be done by clicking here.

Attendees will receive free coaching from experienced instructors who will guide you through the game's rules, scoring, and strategies. There is no prior pickleball experience to attend - bring your curiosity and a pair of clean shoes with non-marking soles. Paddles and equipment will be provided!

While you attend, learn about AARP resources and explore how staying active supports healthy aging and brain health. Everyone who attends will be entered to win a pickleball starter kit valued at $500, which includes:

  • A pickleball backpack
  • A paddle
  • K-Swiss Shoes
  • A t-shirt
  • A sleeve of balls
  • A one-month membership
  • Club credits

For more information on the events, contact Jennifer Baier at Jbaier@aarp.org.
