AARP Wyoming is sponsoring Beer, Brats, and Baseball, a Military Appreciation Event at Mike Lansing Field, 6:35 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, in Casper during the Casper Horsehead’s game with the Fremont Moo.

The first 100 baseball fans who show their military/veterans ID or AARP membership cards at the AARP booth outside the ticket window at Mike Lansing Field will receive a coupon for one general admission ticket, a free brat, and a beverage of their choice.

The Expedition League’s Casper Horseheads are a collegiate summer wood-bat league with players who take part in their college’s baseball teams around the Mountain West and West Coast regions of the country.

Veterans Outreach is a priority to AARP in Wyoming and nationally as AARP counts over four million members - or 10 percent off AARP’s membership as military veterans. AARP has made resources for veterans available and easy to access on its website: aarp.org/veterans.

“We’re dedicated to meeting the needs of all who have sacrificed for our great nation,” says AARP Wyoming State Director Sam Shumway. “This is just one small way we can say thank you . We also offer free community programs and services on caregiving, re-careering, fighting fraud, and navigating service benefits, deals, and discounts.”
