Movies for Grownups Preps for a Big Year in the Twin Cities

For the 4 th straight year, AARP Movies for Grownups® is celebrating films with a special relevance to 50+ moviegoers in the Twin Cities. In 2015, at theaters across the metro region,

AARP members and guests can enjoy more than a dozen new and notable movies for free.

Past screenings have included Oscar winners like “20 Feet from Stardom,” and “NEBRASKA.” Already in 2015 screenings of “Selma,” “Black or White” and “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” have been held in Brooklyn Center and Bloomington. Details on several spring screenings are soon to be announced for Minneapolis, Edina and the Mall of America.

Attendees at the Movie for Grownups screening are able to enjoy the film and meet AARP staff, volunteers, and fellow AARP members. They are also able to learn more about AARP resources and events happening right here in the Twin Cities.

The Movies for Grownup events are popular and usually fill up fast. Information for screenings are posted online and via social media, but the best way to find free movie invites is to OPT-IN now by providing your email address at www.aarp.org/yes2emailMN.
