Dealing with caregiving issues for a family member?

Are you dealing with caregiving issues for a family member?  Family caregivers are the backbone of Long Term Care and provide an estimated savings of $450 billion per year to the US economy.  But we know that caregiving is tiring; caregivers are pulled in many different directions and  may need help.  Your local Area Office on Aging can tell you about caregiving assistance that is available thanks to the Global Options program which AARP supported. Call 1-877-222-3737, and your call will be routed to your County Area Office on Aging where you can ask about available assistance for you or your loved one.

AARP New Jersey knows caregivers need a break. This is why we are supporting the New Jersey Caregivers Assistance Act – A3404.  If passed, the New Jersey Caregiver’s Assistance Act will support caregiving families with a modest tax credit for those who are struggling.
