We Need to Talk

Driver safety photo

Charlotte traffic can be a nightmare!. Keeping safe on the roads is a concern to all of us, especially those of us with aging parents. How do you know when it's time for your loved one to limit or stop driving?

It’s a tough subject for most families, but it's a serious matter. Now there's help.

AARP is happy to offer We Need to Talk, a free workshop to help you determine how to assess your loved ones’ driving skills and provide tools to help you have this important conversation.

This fall, AARP is offering We Need to Talk programs at select venues in the Charlotte area, and we are happy to come out to your group! For information on how your organization, house of worship or community center can host a We Need to Talk session, contact Mike Olender, AARP Associate State Director, at molender@aarp.org or (704) 359-7407.
