AARP Eye Center
This week AARP Georgia and several financial agencies met at the State Capitol to proclaim April as Financial Literacy Month, signed by Governor Deal. AARP and the Georgia Consortium for Personal Financial Literacy were listed as contributing partners to educate Georgians on financial literacy topics.
In April, during Money Smart Week, we will hold several workshops throughout metro Atlanta on topics such as financial security, work and save, fraud, and the sandwich generation managing competing financial demands. Recognition for collaborative efforts like these helps us to further promote our work. Stayed tuned to the aarp.org/ga website for details on upcoming events.
