New Jersey public workers who have paid into the system over a lifetime of hard work deserve financial security in retirement.  It is critical that our policy makers honor pension commitments made to our state and local workers, who have consistently made their pension payments, on time and in full.

Public workers, retirees, and all New Jersey residents deserve an open, thoughtful discussion about our state budget challenges.  And our elected officials – Republicans and Democrats alike - should provide the leadership needed to avoid cutting pension benefits for hard-working teachers, firefighters, police officers, and other civil servants.
