Are You Ready for Retirement? Our Workshop Tools Can Help!

Work Or Retire

It used to be so simple…work hard for many years, build a strong pension, collect your earned benefits through Social Security and Medicare, and enjoy your later years as a retiree. It was something most people planned for and achieved.

Today, that’s almost a thing of the past. Most people 50+ assume they’ll be working well into their late 60s, with retirement dangling as a remote possibility instead of a given.

That said, with planning and sound decision-making, there are ways to make retirement a part of your future—and the time to begin is now.

If you’re 50+ and have not yet claimed Social Security or retirement benefits, the upcoming Ready for Retirement? Tools to Achieve Peace of Mind workshop, sponsored by AARP Massachusetts, is for you.

Ready for Retirement takes place on Saturday, November 16, 2013, from 9:30-11:15 a.m. at the Holyoke Senior Center. The event is FREE, but a reservation is required by Wednesday, Nov. 13. Register here or see details below.

During the workshop, you’ll learn about a variety of resources available for retirement planning, including solid tips on how to get there financially—whether you’re beginning to make retirement decisions, are many years away, or thought retirement wasn’t within your grasp! Reserve your seat for this valuable workshop today!
