Arizona Caregivers and their Portrait of Care

Blog-Image-Wyoming-1

AARP believes family caregiver stories aren’t celebrated nearly enough and that it’s time the world got a better picture of just what it means to be a caregiver.

It's because of the tireless efforts of family caregivers that older parents, spouses and loved ones remain living in their own homes.  In other words, caregivers provide a labor of love.  The time they spend caregiving can sometimes amount to more than a full-time job.

We're looking for family caregiver stories of hope, love and dedication from Arizona and all around the country.  And to honor and recognize family caregivers, AARP will randomly select one caregiver from each of the 53 U.S. states and territories that submit their story to receive a Portrait of Care-- an artist’s painting of you and your loved one.

Find out more and share your story and photo with us at I-Heart Caregivers.
