On June 26th, Attend a Free Fraud Watch Forum and Bring Your Papers for Shredding

AARP DC and Legal Counsel for the Elderly Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) announces a free community shred day and fraud forum on Friday, June 26, 2015.

Drop off unneeded personal and financial information for shredding. To serve as many consumers as possible, volunteers will be onsite to assist with unloading your vehicle. Due to the support of Shred-It and our volunteers, there is NO CHARGE for this service. No reservation is needed. Bring your items to be shredded between 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Also on this same day, attend a FREE Fraud Watch Network Forum with fraud awareness information from AARP DC, Legal Counsel for the Elderly (LCE) Senior Medicare Patrol, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and the Washington Informer.  AARP’s Fraud Watch Network is your source for information on how to protect your identity. Information will be provided about the top scams in the District. Registration required for this FREE forum.
