AARP FOUNDATION TAX-AIDE WILL PROVIDE FREE TAX ASSISTANCE AND PREPARATION BEGINNING IN FEBRUARY 2014
This year, AARP Foundation is again providing free tax assistance and preparation for taxpayers with low to moderate income through the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, in its 45thyear, is the nation’s largest free tax assistance and preparation service, giving special attention to those 60 and older. You do not need to be a member of AARP or a retiree to use this free service.
With the start of the new year, millions of Americans will have access to health coverage for the first time or have improved coverage because of the health care law. There are steps you can take now to ensure you have access to coverage beginning January 1.

Before heading off to the polls Nov. 5, make sure you have an acceptable form of identification. Virginia voters are now required to show ID in order to cast a normal or absentee ballot. If you fail to present an acceptable form of ID you will be given the option to vote a provisional ballot.
