With skyrocketing property values in Montana, comes skyrocketing property tax bills. AARP Montana wants to remind Montanans about several tax relief programs.
During the 2026 legislative session, AARP is urging lawmakers to keep funding the state’s Health Homes program, which helps clients eligible for both Medicaid and Medicare who have the highest medical needs.
AARP Wisconsin is prioritizing legislation to fund fall prevention, protect consumers from scams and expand housing options.

Along with establishing a prescription drug affordability board, paid leave and crypto fraud measures are AARP Virginia’s top priorities this year.
Addressing cryptocurrency fraud will be a top priority for AARP Tennessee during the 2026 legislative session. AARP and other consumer advocates will push for legislation to regulate crypto ATMs, such as setting limits on daily transactions.
