AARP New Mexico will be hosting its Spring document shredding events Saturday, April 26, in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Las Cruces.
As part of Drug Take Back Day, AARP will also be partnering with the New Mexico Department of Justice in Santa Fe to help people safely dispose of old or expired medications at the same time and place they can get rid of their sensitive documents.
Albuquerque Isotopes baseball season begins later this month with opening night Friday, March 28, against the Sacramento River Cats. And AARP New Mexico plans to be part of the season in a couple of ways.
The first is a special ticket offer. AARP New Mexico is partnering with the Isotopes to offer a buy one, get one free for any Tuesday, Isotopes home game in the Reserved and Berm levels. Tickets must be purchased in multiple of 2s.

SB 76 passes Senate Judiciary
The Social Security Administration confirmed to AARP that beginning April 14, they will allow all claim types to be completed over the telephone as they previously had been. This includes Retirement, Survivors, and Auxiliary (Spouse or Child) benefits that SSA previously announced would require in-person identity proofing, in addition to Social Security Disability Insurance, Medicare, and SSI.
