To help the state’s vibrant and growing Hispanic population access news they can use, AARP Connecticut is expanding its Spanish-language content online, on the air and at local events.

The effort involves teaming up with Hispanic media outlets to host events and share information related to financial security, caregiving and fraud prevention. Also new is an AARP Connecticut Spanish-language blog.

“Many older Hispanics and Latinos and their families prefer to receive information in their native language,” said Nora Duncan, AARP state director.
