Have you ever been charged for "out of network" services at your "in-network" hospital?

A surprise party on your birthday is great. A surprise visit from your grandchild is joyous. But a surprise medical bill? There's nothing happy about that.

If you have ever received treatment at a hospital and were then billed for services during your hospital stay that are "out of network", that can be quite a surprise. Not to mention a huge hit to your wallet!

We want to hear from people just like you who have experienced this. Patients should not be surprised with "out of network" charges when they go to an in-network hospital for their care. Patients should be able to go to a hospital in their insurance network and rest assured that all of the medical professionals and laboratory services will be covered at in-network rates. Patients should not be surprised with huge medical bills.

If this has happened to you, please share your story with us by using the form below. Help us show legislators that surprise medical bills are hurting patients.
