Age-Friendly DC is a coordinated, comprehensive, and collective-action effort with the goal of ensuring that the District of Columbia is a great place for all ages to live, work and play!

As a DC resident, you have a say in building a better future for the city. What has improved in your community? What concerns you?

We want to hear from you! Please RSVP here for an upcoming listening session in your community.

In 2012, Age-Friendly DC implemented a strategic plan, based on the feedback of thousands of DC residents. The plan identifies 77 strategies and lists more than 70 partner agencies and organizations to accomplish this work.

Now, 5 years later, AARP DC is working with Age-Friendly DC to organize Community Consultation listening sessions across all 8 wards to once again listen to DC residents and collect your opinions on transportation, housing, public safety, social services and more. This feedback will be used to inform the next phase of the Age-Friendly DC Strategic Plan (for 2017-2022).

You may register today to participate in an upcoming Community Consultation listening session. Light refreshments will be provided.
