Help Us Tackle Older Adult Hunger Sept. 20

(c)AARP Foundation

Team up with the Miami Dolphins, AARP and AARP Foundation’s Drive to End Hunger to pack one million meals for hungry older adults in Southern Florida on September 20, 2014 at Sun Life Stadium. You’ll spend a couple hours alongside some of your favorite Dolphins alumni players, cheerleaders and TD. And as an added incentive, the Dolphins will be raffling off some great prizes! Meals will benefit Feeding South Florida.

In May, AARP Foundation and the Miami Dolphins announced a multi-year relationship. We share a passion for volunteerism, engagement, and action—and together, we believe we can make a significant difference in the lives of South Floridians. The heart of the collaboration involves engaging Dolphins members, fans and the broader community in impactful events including meal-packing, financial education, home rehabilitation and intergenerational community building.

Every month, we host a “Signature Saturday” event focusing on one of our impact areas—hunger, income, housing and isolation. Even if you are not able to join us on September 20, explore the other AARP Foundation Signature Saturday volunteer opportunities.
