AARP advocates on policy issues that matter most to Maryland residents age 50 and over and their families. In our state legislative advocacy efforts, we rely on our hundreds of volunteers and 850,000 members across Maryland.

Romance scams have become one of the top drivers of crypto currency fraud, because once the criminal creates a deep connection with their victim, they are able to get that person to do things they wouldn’t normally do.
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is providing free in-person and virtual tax assistance and preparation now through April 15 throughout Maryland. The nation’s largest free, volunteer-based tax assistance and preparation program helped secure more than $1.1 billion in refunds for more than 1.5 million taxpayers last year. Tax-Aide is offered in conjunction with the IRS, and AARP membership is not required.
