Minnesotans Can't Wait One More Year!
Tell your legislator to make protecting older Minnesotans from abuse and neglect a top priority in 2019.
I n 2018, state lawmakers failed to pass meaningful legislation that would have addressed horrific cases of elder abuse in Minnesota's long term care settings.
As a result, the problems persist with the Minnesota Department of Health still receiving 400 cases of abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation every week.
More must be done to protect Minnesotans.
This year, lawmakers have pledged to work in a bi-partisan way to pass elder abuse reforms that address the systemic problems facing older Minnesotans.
But they must hear from YOU.
Take action NOW! Tell your legislator to make the safety of older and vulnerable adults a priority.
