AARP Mississippi is inviting all veterans in the area to attend the AARP Veterans Town Hall on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The free event will be held at the Richland Community Center, 410 East Harper St. in Richland, MS. Veterans may bring one guest. Lunch will be served.

AARP Mississippi is sponsoring Museum After Hours this month at the Mississippi Museum of Art. We invite you to join us at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 17 at the museum, located at 380 South Lamar Street in Jackson. This month’s theme is “Homeward Bound.”

They’ve served their country, and now AARP Mississippi is giving back by sponsoring a special town hall for veterans on Thursday, June 8, in DeSoto County.

(Jackson, MS) - As a part of Operation: Stop Scams, AARP Mississippi is presenting a free shredding event on Friday, April 28, 2017, from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the United Artist Parkway Theater parking lot. The theater is located on 1075 Parkway Blvd. in Flowood. Shredding services are open to the public. Representative Mark Baker will speak promptly at noon on methods Mississippians can utilize to defend themselves against fraud.
