AARP Mississippi is pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 2017 AARP Mississippi Andrus Award for Community Service -- AARP’s most prestigious and visible state volunteer award for community service.
AARP Mississippi is inviting all Veterans in the area to attend the AARP Veterans Town Hall on Thursday, June 8 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The free event will be held at The Arena at Southaven, located on 7360 Highway 51 North in Southaven.
(Jackson, MS) - As a part of Operation: Stop Scams, AARP Mississippi is presenting a free shredding event on Friday, April 28, 2017, from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the United Artist Parkway Theater parking lot. The theater is located on 1075 Parkway Blvd. in Flowood. Shredding services are open to the public. Representative Mark Baker will speak promptly at noon on methods Mississippians can utilize to defend themselves against fraud.
