In our third episode, our second in February, AARP Nevada volunteer Doug Verb joins us for an entertaining and fun discussion about his background and his volunteer work. Verb, co-founder of the Major Indoor Soccer League, and sports communications and marketing consultant, talks about his colorful career. From being a major newspaper reporter, to running sports leagues, Verb has great stories about the people and places that were a part of his career. He also discusses why he volunteers at AARP and the importance of giving back.

In what has become a welcomed yearly resource, the AARP Foundation is again providing free tax assistance and preparation for taxpayers with low to moderate income through the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, in its 49th year, is the nation’s largest free tax assistance and preparation service, giving special attention the older population. You do not need to be a member of AARP or a retiree to use this service.
