America’s Test Kitchen Live with Christopher Kimball is coming to the Capitol Center for the Arts and AARP members and their guests receive a $5 discount on tickets. The performance starts at 7:30 pm on Thursday, October 16 at 44 South Main Street in Concord, with a pre-show reception for AARP members beginning at 6:00.
Join Christopher Kimball in a lively evening exploring PBS Television’s America’s Test Kitchen. The audience will get a behind-the-scenes private tour of the test kitchen including equipment tests, live taste and aroma tests, and two live science experiments. (Can you make a balloon out of gluten?) Find out what it’s really like to work at and host one of the most popular food programs airing today. There will also be a question-and-answer session at the end of the show.
Christopher Kimball is the founder and editor of Cook’s Illustrated and host of America’s Test Kitchen. CooksIllustrated.com receives nearly 20 million visitors per year and Cook’s Illustrated is a New York Times bestseller. America’s Test Kitchen is one of the strongest rated cooking shows on television.
