Coffee & Conversation: Meet Michael & Michael

February is Black History Month. It is a time to focus attention on the contributions of African Americans to the United States. It honors all Black people from all periods of U.S. history, from the enslaved people first brought over from Africa in the early 17th century to African Americans living in the United States today.

In honor of Black History Month, we’ll sit down at this month’s Coffee & Conversation on February 1 at 10 am, for an honest and poignant conversation with Michael Provost and Michael Ward who were raised in New Hampshire’s seacoast area. Their friendship began in 1957 when they met in kindergarten and continues to this day. They had the same first name, but their backgrounds were different. 

Hear their story off friendship, diversity and integration and growing up in New Hampshire.
