AARP Eye Center
Many of us are familiar with Amber Alerts but do you know what the Silver Alert is? A Silver Alert is a public notification system in the United States to broadcast information about missing persons – especially older adults.
Join this conversation with the NH Major Crimes Unit for older Granite Staters and their caregivers. This program emphasizes practical strategies to keep your loved ones safe.
Each year, the number of people reported missing to the NH State Police has increased due to different circumstances, one of which is the adults’ vulnerability of mental illness.
There are steps that caregivers can take to protect their vulnerable adults.
Grab a cup of coffee and join us on Tuesday, February 7 at 10 am for a FREE virtual Coffee and Conversation with Sergeant Justin Rowe from NH Major Crimes Unit. He will present with information on how the Silver Alert is activated. He will also highlight the real-world experience from the current applications, as well as answering audience questions on safety tips for older adults and their caregivers.
Bring your coffee and your questions!
