Are you a veteran in need of housing?
Join AARP NH and the NH Veterans Administration online on February 27 at 10 am for a FREE, Coffee & Conversation. During this event, we will discuss a new VA program called Medical Foster Homes that will ensure housing and support for Granite State veterans.
The program provides eligible Veterans the option of living in a family setting when they can no longer stay in their own home. Creating residential options for Veterans is a way to honor those who supported the defense of this nation. For Veterans, Medical Foster Homes are an affordable alternative to nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
We’ll also focus on caregiving and how to make communities more livable for veterans.
