Enrolled in Medicare? Collecting Social Security? This presentation will refamiliarize and update you on both programs. We'll review what Medicare covers, enrollment periods and Medicaid, you My Social Security account, working while collecting and who can collect on your record.

DRIVER SAFETY PRESENTATIONS

Drive Safety Program: We Need to Talk

This AARP Driver Safety program can help you plan sensitive, successful conversations concerning an elder's safe driving . . . and then, if necessary, for steps to be taken for them to limit or retire from driving. Surveys show that more than half of older drivers whose family asked them to retire from driving followed those suggestions.

Safe Driver (6 hours over several sessions, not offered virtually)

This comprehensive program consists of classroon teaching and helpful videos that will update participants on changes in driving laws , roads and safe driving skills. No driving or written test required.

Smart Driver TEK (90 minutes)

Learn all about the latest high-tech safety features in your current car, or what technology to look for when shopping for a new car. We'll discuss the safety benefits of blind spot warning systems, forward collision warnings and more.

Intro to Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Curious about AI? Want to know more about Chat GPT? This lecture will introduce some of the basic ideas around artificial intelligence. We’ll talk about how AI is being used today, what its current limitations are, and how it will shape the future!

Intro to Managing Your Privacy
Concerned about privacy? Unsure about accepting cookies? Learn about some essential privacy tips! In this introductory lecture, we’ll review how ads target us online, how to limit tracking, where to find browser settings and extensions to better control how our information is shared. We’ll also discuss some of the key features of password managers and why they’re a safe and secure option.

Streaming & Smart TVs
Every day, more and more people are “cutting the cord” and canceling their cable subscriptions. Instead, they’re using free or low-cost streaming services like YouTube, Netflix, and Hulu to watch their favorite shows and movies online. This presentation will introduce streaming: what it is, how to use it, and the variety of content available. You’ll also learn how to watch live TV without cable and how smart TVs and streaming devices can let you watch videos from the Internet on your television.
