Gardening for Pollinators--4.21.22

Gardening for Pollinators April 2022 (1).png

Do you enjoy a savory salad or a crunchy apple? Thank a pollinator! Pollinators are critical to our food supply, economic health, and biological diversity.

Creating healthy garden habitats is a wonderful way to enjoy time outside while positively impacting these important animals.

In this online, interactive program on April 21 at 6 pm, we will explore:

  • The natural history of insect pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and moths
  • Low maintenance native perennials and annuals to attract a wide variety of pollinators throughout the growing season
  • Easy planting ideas for patios, balconies, and yard areas
  • Safe gardening practices and products to ensure a healthy backyard ecosystem
