AARP NH has a seat for you at our upcoming Local & Livable Community Dinner on August 24 at Vernon Family Farm in Newfields, NH.

Vernon Family Farm is a first generation, pastured livestock farm on New Hampshire’s seacoast. Established in 2014, the farm works hard to provide wholesome, delicious food to the community through their farm store and agritourism events. Located on 33 conserved acres in Newfields, NH, along the Piscassic River and route 87, the farm raises non-GMO pastured chicken, lamb, pork, grass-fed beef, vegetables and cut flowers. Their products are sold throughout NH and at the farm store, located on-site.

At this special dinner event from 5 to 7 pm, attendees will enjoy a 100% locally-grown meal of chicken and vegetables as well as options for dietary restrictions. Diners will have the opportunity to discuss AARP’s social mission. This will be a great opportunity to connect with community members and learn about livable communities and healthy living.

 AARP NH staff and volunteers will provide resources to enhance community knowledge of the issue areas. We will also speak about our issues and promote livability and local.
