Snack, Sample and Serve AARP Volunteer Recruitment Event in Greater Concord

Are you ready to make a difference?

AARP New Hampshire is gearing up to offer more events, activities, and programs in Greater Concord and we need your help!  There are a lot of volunteer opportunities to get us where we need to go, and we’ve put together a Snack, Sample and Serve event to give you a “taste” of the various volunteer opportunities with AARP in the Seacoast area.

Sample the assortment of volunteer opportunities available at AARP New Hampshire in the Concord area; and

Serve your community.

What will take place? Well, you’ll be welcomed by a variety of volunteers representing the different volunteer opportunities, who can share their experiences with you. You can listen, ask questions, and engage with other people just like you.  Here are some of the volunteers you’ll meet:

• Community Events
• Tabling
• Community Planning Teams
• Speakers Bureau
• Movies for Grown-Ups
• Voter Engagement
• Drivers Safety
• Tax Aid (Tentative)
• Capital City Task Force (Advocacy)

Socialize, snack on yummy appetizers, and listen for the GONG which signals volunteers to move from table to table, giving you information and answering any questions about these opportunities. Kind of like speed dating!

We invite you to share your time with AARP New Hampshire on April 1, 2023 in Concord and get to know some of our dedicated, dynamic and talented volunteers.  And maybe find a new volunteer gig for 2023!
