New Hampshire State Commission to focus on Aging Issues
With the help of AARP New Hampshire, the state formed a State Commission on Aging, which will promote aging issues on a state-wide level and promote collaboration among state agencies, businesses, and consumers. A full-time staff will help create solutions and monitor policy on aging issues, including reviewing rules and policies from all state agencies. The commission will include the Departments of Health and Human Services, Labor, Employment Security, Safety, Transportation; the Attorney General and the Housing Finance Authority; as well as 15 public members representing all parts of the state
