Would you like to learn smart money habits? You’re not alone! Over 20 million people 50+ are overwhelmed by mounting debt, poor credit, and/or lack of savings. Take the first step and learn to better manage your money with AARP Foundation Finances 50+℠ workshops – May 13, 20 and 27 – at the Brookside Congregational Church in Manchester
Developed with the Charles Schwab Foundation, the three-part workshop helps people assess their finances, set goals and become smarter money managers. There’s a mix of information and activities, including tools and techniques to help people see their finances in new ways.
The sessions – held 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm – are free of charge and cover these topics:
Session 1: May 13: Budgeting and goal setting
Session 2: May 20: Taking charge of credit and debt
Session 3: May 27: Developing a saving plan and protecting assets
Each 90-minute, interactive, in-person session is designed to help build habits that can improve your financial situation. AARP Foundation Finances 50+℠ will give you a good handle on where you stand financially and provide hands-on ways to help you make measurable progress toward your financial goals.
Workshops will be held at Brookside Congregational Church, 2013 Elm St.. Manchester, NH. Space is limited and registration is required.
